Bioheat Questions & Answers
Q: What is Biodiesel?
A: Biodiesel is a domestic renewable fuel for oil burners derived from
natural oils like Soybean Oil, Vegetable Oil, Algae, Etc. Biodiesel can be blended with heating oil in existing
burners with little or no modification, this is called Bioheat®.
Bioheat® is safe and provides a cleaner, more complete and energy efficient burn. It is a renewable energy source that reduces global warming gas emissions; it is also non-toxic, biodegradable, and suitable for sensitive environments. It actually extends equipment life and reduces periodic maintenance intervals. Bioheat® is made domestically from agricultural or recycled resources, reducing America's dependence on foreign oil and creating jobs here at home.

Q: Do I Have to Use Bioheat®?
A: Yes! New York City is Mandating the use of a minimum 2% blend (B2) be sold in the city
by October 2012 with the neighboring counties such as Nassau and Suffolk pushing legislation to follow. As the
consumer, will not be eligible for any tax credits unless it is marked on your receipt.
Currently throughout NY and other States a number of wholesalers are selling up to a 5% blend (B5), and not disclosing to the retailers or Dealers that they are selling us this product. Unfortunately, the wholesalers do not have to disclose any Bioheat mixtures up to B5. Therefore, it is likely your already receiving a B5 blend from your current dealer and it might not be treated, and you'll be unaware you just received Bioheat®.
Our Company is taking the extra step by Treating your Fuel for any concerns, and giving you the best product for your money with B20, which offers the maximum rebate of 20 cents per gallon.
